The surgery can dispense medicines to those living over 1 mile from the nearest chemist and in a rural location.
If you are not eligible for the dispensing service at the practice, the reception team can direct you to your nearest pharmacy.
Please leave your requests for repeat prescriptions at reception or post your repeats list to the surgery. In either case, please tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. This prevents any unnecessary dispensing of unwanted medicines.
Alternatively, you can request repeat prescriptions online through My Health Online.
Your prescription will usually be ready within 2 working days of your request, however this may be longer in certain periods, such as public holidays.
Arrangements for home deliveries of medicines on Mondays & Tuesdays can be made for those unable to attend the surgery - the decision to offer home delivery is at the discretion of the doctors, please telephone the surgery if you wish to discuss home deliveries.
Patients with ongoing medical problems on long-term medication need to have their health monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed, you will be asked to make an appointment. You will occasionally be sent written reminders and/or blood forms with your repeat prescription as directed by the doctor.
