Flu Vaccinations
Flu Vaccinations 24-25
This year the surgery will be holding clinics where we can offer both the Covid booster & Flu vaccination at the same time. If you're eligible, you will receive an invitation for a pre-booked appointment from the Local Health Board's Vaccination team to attend the surgery. The dates we are currently offering are:
- Saturday 5th October
- Saturday 12th October
- Saturday 19th October
- Saturday 26th October
***If you are unable to attend or wish to re-arrange the appointment, please follow the instructions included on the original invite***
Parents of children eligible for a nasal flu spray will be contacted throughout August and appointments starting from the week commencing 2nd of September will be offered.
Pregnant women will be eligible for a flu vaccine from the week commencing 2nd of September.
Patients eligible for a flu vaccination are:
- Patients aged 65 years and older
- Pregnant Women
- Carers
- Patients with a learning disability
- Patients with a severe mental illness
- Patients aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group
- Children aged two and three years on 31st August 2024 – given as a nasal spray
- Staff providing domiciliary care
- Staff providing frontline NHS/Primary care services, healthcare workers with direct patient contact
